*Programs which can be evaluated include: NCLB, bilingual/ESL, special education, early childhood education, vocational education, adult education, job training programs, school reform and other commercial programs, technology programs, after school and summer programs, year-round education programs, professional development programs, voucher programs, charter schools, etc.

All program evaluations include: a team approach involving project staff and staff from M and E, the use of both process (formative) data for interim program improvement purposes, and performance (summative) data for annual program improvement purposes, the use of valid and reliable multiple measures for each program objective, the use of control or comparison groups to assess the impact of objectives related to student performance, and a longitudinal evaluation process.
